This is an installation of the complete first movement of Kurt Schwitters' Ursonate. It was photographed at the exhibition "Jack Ox: Painting Music" at the Contemporary Art Center, New Orleans, La., 2004. It is hand painted in oil on mylar, each line is one foot high, or 20 cm., and was created from 1991-1996. The first, second, and third movements were made two times, the entire painting is 800 square feet with the first movement occupying one half of the entire piece.
