Landcape representing keyboard percussion like marimba or piano in compositions using traditional orchestration in the Color Organ. It is now used as the texture map for all of the sounds in the third group of Alvin Curran's sounds. The land formation exists in the Borrego Springs Desert near San Diego, Cal.
